Traditional face frame shaker kitchen designed and handmade by The Autumn Kitchen
Just in time for Xmas! this is the last kitchen build of 2021 going to a loving home in Menston In Ilkley. Our customers Mike and Jo were involved at every step of the whole process and this kitchen has beed designed to be exactly the specifications that they wanted. Mike been a keen cook and Jo having a terrific eye for detail when it comes to style, Every part of this project has been drawn out, chatted about and worked to make the space what it is.
This is a full birch plywood cabinetry build including all drawers and internal features. all the face frames, decor ends and shaker doors are made from Tulip wood and spray painted in Farrow and Ball. The Kitchen has two entrances, one from the outside that leads you to the main L shape of the kitchen where the induction Hob and the sink is. This is the main food prep area and Is fitted with a white quartz. and the living room/snug that the 3.4m island opens up into.
The solid oak Island top is a real feature with an oak corbel post at the end to allow for a breakfast bar and entertaining area. This gives the whole kitchen a natural organic feel matching into the oak floor. The main of the island is built with large drawers for lots of storage and easy access with a dishwasher incorporated. The head of the island is matching with 4 large integrated oak chopping boards framing the drawers. A full hight pantry with spice racks and oak shelving makes for lots of storage with automated lighting.
This has been an amazing kitchen project to be involved in and seeing the property renovation evolve into the final idea has been really rewarding. This traditional yet natural feel kitchen is the heart of the home and we wish Mike and Jo many years enjoyment from it.
